Key Replacement
$10
Key will be a generic round, rubber-headed key by default. Genuine VW keys will cost approximately $7.50 extra. Exact price will be quoted prior to ordering or cutting.
| * - A core charge is applied to cover my costs in having to replace those parts which are sent to me that prove to be defective or missing vital pieces. Core charges must be paid prior to work being done and are refundable upon inspection of pieces. If you send me a rebuildable core, this will be the one you receive back. If your core is nonrebuildable, I will notify you and inform you of any additional costs prior to work being performed. | |||||
Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed upon.
A handling fee equal to the price required to ship the items back to you will be charged if you decide you do not want the work performed after you have sent the parts.
I reserve the right to keep the parts if payment is not made in full and/or funds are insufficient. Items will be released after proper payment plus a $5 service fee have been paid.
Turn-around for work being performed will usually be one day. Special order items (lock cylinders, keys, etc.) may take up to five.
Re-keying means that the parts will be re-keyed. No grinding of metal will take place. Doing so would compromise the security of your vehicle.
Discounts will be given for repeat customers and/or customers wanting more than one car rekeyed.
